Bio

Benjamin Seth Thompson is a partner at ‘Maggio | Thompson, LLP, where he focuses his practice exclusively on representing individuals and families who have been injured due to negligence and wrongdoing. No stranger to the courtroom, Seth takes pride in creating compelling cases that give a voice to his clients – even in the face of underhanded attempts by insurance companies to undervalue or deny claims. Seth is a true fighter, and it shows in the results he has secured through the years.

A native Mississippian, Seth was born and raised in Ellisville. He attended and graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2007, earning a B.A. in English and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, Seth attended the Mississippi College School of Law, where he was elected Executive Editor of the Law Review and honed his writing and oral argument skills by participating in Moot Court competitions at both the state and national levels.

Over the course of his career, Seth has successfully tried several cases to verdict and has appeared before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission on numerous occasions, having represented more than 1,000 injured workers across the state. In 2016, he was selected for inclusion in the Rising Stars℠ and has been chosen every year since.

Seth is a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice, where he has served as a member of the Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Madison County Bar Association and the Jackson Young Lawyers.

When not at the office, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and their daughter, Harper.
